Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Creator role based in Kigali. The Content Creator will develop and produce digital content that showcases STRIDE’s streetwear collections and brand story across social media, the website, and other marketing channels. Day-to-day tasks include planning and executing content calendars, creating engaging photo and video content, writing captions and short-form copy, and collaborating with the design and marketing teams to align visuals and messaging. The role involves participating in on-site shoots, capturing behind-the-scenes content, and engaging with the community through comments, messages, and live content. The Content Creator will also track performance metrics, suggest content improvements, and help grow brand awareness and engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in digital content creation, including photography, videography, and basic editing for social media platforms.
- Ability to write clear, engaging short-form copy for captions, product highlights, and brand storytelling.
- Experience with social media management tools, content planning, and community engagement.
- Understanding of streetwear culture, youth trends, and visual storytelling that resonates with ambitious, style-driven audiences.
- Basic graphic design skills using tools such as Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with creative, marketing, and operations teams on-site.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple content projects and deadlines.
- Previous experience in content creation, social media, fashion, or lifestyle brands is an advantage.
- Comfort working on-site in Kigali and participating in brand events, shoots, and community activities.
