Medicals Sales Representative

Job Context

To ensure consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals and targets in assigned territory by identifying opportunities and gaining new business while maintaining existing business for DP World. Managing a team of well trained and motivated sales representatives across the territory through regular in-field training, coaching, clear communication, and constructive feedback mechanisms.

Key Performance Areas:

• Promote and sell Closure technology and Biosurgery products to hospitals and healthcare facilities across the region.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with surgeons, nurses, theatre staff, procurement personnel, and key decision-makers.
• Conduct product presentations, clinical demonstrations, and in-service training sessions for healthcare professionals.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market penetration within assigned territories.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and business objectives.
• Support product evaluations and clinical trials in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs and provide timely feedback to management.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and territory business plans.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, healthcare industry regulations, and ethical standards.
• Participate in conferences, workshops, and other professional events to promote company products.
• Maintain a high level of product and clinical knowledge through continuous learning and training.
• Other duties as required by the BUH

Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Medicine, or a related healthcare field or Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.

Experience and Skills Required:

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in medical device sales, healthcare sales, or a related clinical environment.
• Strong understanding of the healthcare market.
• Registered Nurse qualification.
• Experience working in an operating theatre environment.
• Previous experience selling surgical sutures, wound closure products, biosurgery products, or other surgical devices.
• Experience working with surgeons, theatre nurses, and hospital procurement teams
