NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EU funded project called: Higher Education System Strengthening Project II – Somalia and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.
The overall objective of this assignment is to strengthen the capacity of the higher education system for enhanced coordination, regulation and sustainability of interventions in Somalia.
Location: Mogadishu, Somalia.
Duration: The intended start date is 1st October 2026 and the period of implementation of the contract will be 36 months from this date.
Non-Key Expert: Monitoring, Evaluating & Research Specialist (junior)
☝️ Minimum Qualifications and skills:
- Master’s degree in statistics, economics, development studies, social sciences or a related field.
- Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methods and statistical software (e.g. SPSS, Stata, R).
- Training in results‑based management and logical‑framework approaches.
☝️Specific professional experience:
- At least 5 years’ experience designing and implementing monitoring and evaluation frameworks for development programmes.
- Experience conducting baseline studies, surveys and evaluations in the education sector.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse data and produce evidence‑based recommendations and reports for donors.
- Familiarity with EU or similar donor reporting requirements and indicator definitions.
