JOB DESCRIPTION

Empire Wisdom & Technology LTD is seeking an experienced and responsible Professional Driver (C+E License) to operate heavy transport vehicles and articulated trucks. The driver will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods, compliance with road safety regulations, and proper handling of cargo. The role requires professionalism, reliability, and adherence to company and legal standards for long-haul and local transportation.

Candidate Requirements:

• English speaker — B2 level
• Candidates from the UAE, Gulf countries, and Egypt
• Valid GCC driving licence
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience
• Advanced English language level

WORKING DAYS AND HOURS

• Saturday: 10 hours
• Monday: 10 hours
• Tuesday: 10 hours
• Wednesday: 10 hours
• Thursday: 10 hours
• Friday: 10 hours

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Vehicle Operation

• Operate heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and articulated trucks with C+E category license.
• Transport goods safely and efficiently across assigned routes, both local and long-distance.
• Ensure proper loading, securing, and unloading of cargo.

2. Compliance & Safety

• Follow all road safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (tires, brakes, lights, fluids).
• Maintain accurate tachograph records and comply with driving/rest time regulations.

3. Cargo Management

• Check delivery documentation and ensure accuracy of transported goods.
• Report cargo discrepancies, damages, or delays to supervisors.
• Handle goods with care to prevent loss or damage.

4. Vehicle Care & Maintenance

• Keep assigned vehicle clean, safe, and roadworthy at all times.
• Report mechanical issues, breakdowns, or accidents immediately.
• Coordinate with mechanics and workshop staff for maintenance needs.

5. Customer Service & Communication

• Interact with customers and clients professionally during deliveries.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and supervisors regarding schedules and issues.
• Represent the company with professionalism on the road and at delivery sites.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated with changes in traffic laws, road safety practices, and logistics technologies.
• Suggest route optimizations to improve efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.
• Participate in driver training and development programs.
