Empowered Bridge Foundation is a youth-led organization dedicated to capacity building, education promotion, peace building, and inclusivity for women and persons with disabilities.

Role Description

The Program Coordinator Volunteer:

  • will help plan, organize, and support youth-focused and community-based programs in a hybrid arrangement, with some tasks completed from home and others on-site.
  • Volunteer to Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating program activities, supporting volunteer teams, assisting with training sessions, and maintaining regular communication with participants and partners.
  • The role also involves helping with community outreach, organizing events and workshops, tracking program progress, and preparing reports or updates for the organization’s leadership.
  • The Program Coordinator will collaborate closely with staff and volunteers to ensure programs run smoothly, remain inclusive, and meet the needs of youth and vulnerable families.


Note: This is a volunteer position and may require occasional working days, evening or weekend availability, depending on program schedules.


Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication abilities, including clear, respectful engagement with diverse youth and community members.
  • Experience or interest in volunteer training and volunteer management, with the ability to support, motivate, and guide volunteers.
  • Skills in community outreach and relationship-building with local partners, schools, and community groups.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple activities and meet agreed timelines.
  • Commitment to inclusivity, peace building, and empowerment of women, persons with disabilities, and vulnerable children.
  • Basic computer skills (email, documents, spreadsheets) and comfort working in a hybrid environment (on-site and remote).
  • Prior experience in youth programs, NGOs, or community initiatives is an advantage.
  • Ability to collaborate in a diverse team, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and adapt to changing program needs.
