Required to join an international contractor working with a JV on the construction of an airport. The Change Management Quantity Surveyor is responsible for the identification, notification, evaluation, pricing, substantiation, submission, negotiation and close-out of changes, variations and other commercially relevant events arising under the Main Contract and associated subcontracts.
The role provides focused commercial ownership of the project change process, supports preservation of contractual entitlements and ensures that change submissions are evidence-based, auditable and coordinated with engineering, planning, construction and cost control records.
Applicants should meet the following criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management or a related discipline.
- Typically 10 years or more of relevant quantity surveying and commercial experience, including substantial responsibility for change and variation management on major construction projects.
- Demonstrable experience preparing and negotiating complex, high-value variation submissions.
- Working knowledge of FIDIC-based contracts and formal notice, instruction, valuation and record requirements.
- Strong proficiency in quantity take-off, rate build-up, commercial reporting and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
