On a day-to-day basis, this role identifies and qualifies new business opportunities, manages a sales pipeline, and conducts client meetings and presentations to understand customer needs and propose tailored solutions. The Sales Executive prepares and delivers proposals, coordinates demonstrations with technical teams, negotiates commercial terms, and supports contract closure. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, monitoring market trends and competitor activities, and providing feedback to internal teams to refine offerings and sales strategies. Regular reporting on sales activities, forecasts, and performance against targets is expected, along with participation in industry events and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong consultative selling and relationship management skills, with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into solution-based proposals.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales within ICT, energy solutions, or related technology fields, preferably in the African market.
  • Ability to build and manage a sales pipeline, conduct effective presentations, and negotiate contracts to successful closure.
  • Solid understanding of ICT domains such as cybersecurity, cloud and network solutions, data center services, or digital workplace technologies (knowledge of energy solutions is an advantage).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills, with strong business writing and presentation capabilities.
  • Comfort working with CRM tools, sales reporting, and basic sales analytics to track performance and forecast revenue.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, ICT, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with technical and delivery teams.
  • Fluency in English required; knowledge of local or regional languages is an added advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and regional business development as needed.
