REQUEST FOR QUOTATION FOR: SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF SOLAR HOME SYSTEMS
PROJECT BACKGROUND.
Sabyinyo Community Livelihood Association (SACOLA), in partnership with the African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), is implementing the project titled 'Empowering Youth for Climate-Resilient Conservation and Sustainable Livelihoods in Rwanda.' The project aims to promote the adoption of nature-based solutions, including renewable energy technologies specifically solar home system, to enhance both environmental resilience and community livelihoods.
SACOLA wishes to announce a tender for supply and installation of solar systems to support selected families located in Volcanoes Landscape region. The Services required are described in detail in the Statement of Requirements.
Preparation of tender: You are requested to quote for the Services by completing, signing, and returning:
1.Tender Submission Sheet.
The quotation should be accompanied by:
- Letter addressed to SACOLA chair person with the tender cost.
- Company Registration certificate confirming that you are engaged in solar system trading in Rwanda Valid Tax Clearance Certificate issued by RRA.
- RSSB certificate
- Being ready for supplying and installation of solar system within 30 days after signation of contract At least 1 years of experience in solar system installations
- Certificate of completion of at least 2 similar solar projects in Rwanda
- Qualified technicians in electrical and solar system installation (at least 3 technicians)
- Use of EBM for payment
- Confirmation of site visit
- Confirmation of payment of 20,000 Frw for tender documents on SACOLA account number of: 00052- 00332965-36/BK
Validity of Quotations: The quotation validity required is 15 days.
Submission deadline: 12th June 2026, at 17:00 p.m
Date of site visit: 8th June 2026 at 10:00 a.m from SACOLA Office, Musanze District, Kinigi sector Submission address: The quote should be submitted entirely in electronic format (email) in PDF to the following address: sacolakinigi@gmail.com or submit hardcopies to SACOLA Office at Musanze, Kinigi Sector.
