LETTER OF INVITATION

Dear Sir/Madam,

1. Action pour la Protection de l’Environnement et la Promotion des Filières Agricoles (APEFA), in partnership with Nyanza District, is implementing the project entitled “Building Climate Resilience of Vulnerable Communities of the AKAZIGA Watershed”, with funding from the Rwanda Green Fund (FONERWA).
2. Within the framework of the project, APEFA invites eligible and qualified suppliers to submit bids for the supply and delivery of agricultural lime for progressive terraces established in Nyanza District.
3. The procurement is intended to support the improvement of soil conditions on progressive terraces established within the project intervention area. The required lime shall comply with the technical specifications provided in this tender document.
4. The estimated intervention area is 224 hectares. The tenderer shall supply agricultural lime in accordance with the required technical quality and quantities specified herein.
5. Tender documents may be obtained from the APEFA Head Office upon presentation of proof of payment of a non-refundable tender document fee of 10,000 RWF, payable to the APEFA account at Equity Bank, Account No. 4075200010280/RWF, Account Name: APEFA
6. Tender documents may be obtained on working days at APEFA Head Office, Kimihurura, Kigali, between 08h00 and 16h00.
