Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Video Editor at Safari Strives. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, editing video content, and preparing final outputs for digital platforms that communicate the organization’s mission and impact. Daily tasks include organizing and selecting clips, applying transitions, sound synchronization, and basic color adjustments to ensure high-quality, engaging content. The role also involves collaborating with team members to interpret creative briefs, incorporating motion graphics or simple graphic elements where needed, and maintaining consistent visual branding. The Video Editor will manage file organization, version control, and delivery of assets on schedule.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics.
• Proficiency with industry-standard video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and commitment to deadlines.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with a distributed team.
• Experience creating content for social impact, nonprofit, or social enterprise organizations is an advantage.
• Relevant education or equivalent practical experience in film, media, communications, or a related field is preferred.
