Volunteer Opportunity | Mental Health Lead / Clinical Advisor

We are looking for a licensed psychologist, counselor, or clinical social worker to join OpenMind Haven as our founding Mental Health Lead.

OpenMind Haven is Rwanda's first free, anonymous digital mental health platform for young people. No accounts. No identity. No stigma. Just real support in Kinyarwanda and English.

The MVP is live. Our pilot launches August 2026.

What you will do:

- Guide the clinical framework of the platform

- Supervise and train mental health agents

- Ensure our approach meets professional and ethical standards

- Represent the clinical credibility of OpenMind Haven with partners and funders

What we are looking for:

- Licensed or certified mental health professional

- Passion for youth mental health in Rwanda

- Ability to commit a few hours per week remotely and occasionally in person in Kigali

This is an unpaid volunteer role with a clear path to a paid position once we are funded. You will be a named founding team member and your contribution will be recognized in everything we build.
